IAE, the French Public reference for management
The role of IAEs is to develop research and higher education in business and management within French universities.
IAE FRANCE represents one of the largest French communities in the business and management sciences.
IAEs constitute public spaces that manage to combine equal opportunities and social mobility, in a competitive environment.
Since their creation, IAEs have awarded diplomas to more than 500,000 managers, executives and engineers.
With 37 schools across the country, IAE FRANCE has been building a network of schools with management expertise for more than 60 years.
IAE FRANCE International outreach
To promote the internationalisation of IAE courses and the mobility of students, IAE FRANCE conducts a range of actions.
IAE FRANCE wishes to support IAEs in their international accreditation procedures by offering them additional visibility through its investment in several international networks.
Research guarantees the quality of teaching because it allows teachers to deepen theories, paving the way for the evolution of teaching itself.
Wishing to institutionalize the relations between research and organizations, some IAE have created research chairs.
IAE FRANCE seeks to support IAEs in their international accreditation procedures by offering them additional visibility through its investment in international networks:
An international organisation based in Brussels (Belgium), EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) is an accreditation body responsible for assessing quality and impact in management. In particular, it awards the EQUIS or EPAS labels. Find out more
An American association founded in 1916, AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) is the oldest international accreditation body for business and management schools. AACSB connects educators, students and the corporate world for a common goal: creating the next generation of great managers.
As a network of IAE (university management schools), IAE FRANCE seeks to support IAE in their international accreditation process, which is why IAE FRANCE joined AACSB as a member in 2018. Find out more
Campus France is a public establishment responsible for promoting French higher education abroad and hosting international students and researchers in France. It encourages international mobility, manages scholarship programmes and coordinates the alumni network. Find out more
In collaboration with SGS, IAE FRANCE has also developed a new tool for evaluating university management training:
SGS is the world leader in inspection, monitoring, analysis and certification. In collaboration with SGS, the IAE FRANCE network has developed a quality standard specific to IAE university management schools. This quality standard, called ‘University training and research activities in the field of management science and administration’ makes it possible to obtain the Qualicert label. In recent years, all IAE members of the IAE France network have been Qualicert-certified. Find out more
